Isn't it Lovely

Greetings my devoted fans!!! Here I am with yet another presentation. This time is not something you can eat, but it belongs on the table nevertheless!! It's a romantic table lamp. The shell I got from a car boot sale for 50p and the red base that you see under it was from a previous candle lantern which I altered to accept a 12volt bulb which gives the whole thing this unique glow. I hope you find it as delightful as I do when I entertain the lucky guests!!

Greetings, my devoted fans!!! I hope you are all well. May I present you with my latest culinary contribution which is appropriately called a Bobelette......Gerrit? - Bob's omelette!! Naturally, some of the ingredients within its magnificent shape must remain classified. But let me tell you that it tastes as good as it looks. Bon appetit!!!

Greetings, my devoted fans!! As promised, I am showing you a speaker that I made for general use. It is an active, battery operated unit which is able to accept all three main types of input jacks from microphones, musical instruments or any transistorized equipment. Being of compact design, I use it mainly as a test-bed when repairing any of the aforementioned. Apart from the mid-range speaker seen on the front, it also has a tweeter on the left where you see the perforations pattern which I drilled by hand. Below that you can see the three input sockets and the toggle power switch. On top of the enclosure you have the output volume control. This unit can be hung on a wall, hence the triangular fitting at the back, or it can be placed on any surface as shown. The enclosure panels were cut from a tongue-and-groove floorboard and glued together except for the back panel which is detachable for battery replacement. In the next illustration I shall guide you through the complex circuitry inside. See you then.

Greetings again, my devoted flock.....(I'm sure glad you are still there!!!). In this shot, the back panel has been removed to show you the 9-volt battery on the left which powers the unit. The tweeter is seen on the right with the input connections below it. A transistorized circuit board is seen at the bottom of the enclosure. This I removed from a telephone listening device which does the same job here.
Well, that's all folks!! Thank you for your undivided attention and watch this space.....My repertoire is endless!!!!

Hello you devoted fans!! As a departure from my artistic endeavours, I hereby present you with a picture of the final day of my six-month-long task of transferring all my VHS material onto the two columns of DVDs that you see on the left. The volume comparison is obvious. Nothing on this planet has given me more grief than magnetic tape!! Whether in the form of VHS cassettes, Audio cassettes or Reel to Reel. I'm sure glad to get rid of this lot!! My VHS recorder has now been mothballed and put into storage. Until next time......Keep watching this space!! My repertoire is endless!!!
