Greetings, my devoted fans!! As promised, I am showing you a speaker that I made for general use. It is an active, battery operated unit which is able to accept all three main types of input jacks from microphones, musical instruments or any transistorized equipment. Being of compact design, I use it mainly as a test-bed when repairing any of the aforementioned. Apart from the mid-range speaker seen on the front, it also has a tweeter on the left where you see the perforations pattern which I drilled by hand. Below that you can see the three input sockets and the toggle power switch. On top of the enclosure you have the output volume control. This unit can be hung on a wall, hence the triangular fitting at the back, or it can be placed on any surface as shown. The enclosure panels were cut from a tongue-and-groove floorboard and glued together except for the back panel which is detachable for battery replacement. In the next illustration I shall guide you through the complex circuitry inside. See you then.

Marva, at last we meet....Well, metaphorically speaking, that is!! When I saw that I was not receiving any comments these past two days, I thought that my fans had deserted me. But just as I was about to leave and throw myself in the Thames in desperation, I decided to try once more and that's when I finally saw the comments. All is well again!!! All is bright and beautiful....Like me!! Tee Hee hee!!! (And all this time you thought you were the one who was loopy!!)

Appy Polly Logies for subjecting you to the complicated world of electronics, but I just thought I'd try and post something different. Like I keep saying to the multitude out there, my repertoire is endless, so sooner or later you will see something that will excite your tastebuds......If not, there's always MacDonald's...Ha ha ha !!! Jocularity!! Jocularity!!! (See what I mean? - Totally loopy!!) Thanks for waiting so patiently for your comments to appear, Marva. Take care now.
