Isn't it Lovely
Greetings my devoted fans!!! Here I am with yet another presentation. This time is not something you can eat, but it belongs on the table nevertheless!! It's a romantic table lamp. The shell I got from a car boot sale for 50p and the red base that you see under it was from a previous candle lantern which I altered to accept a 12volt bulb which gives the whole thing this unique glow. I hope you find it as delightful as I do when I entertain the lucky guests!!

Bliss Marva!! Bliss!! Just when I thought that nobody would ever comment on my unique lamp, you seem to be the only one to do so!! (So far!!) Much obliged!! I got it from the Kilburn car boot sale a few years back. As for you being the lucky guest one day....it could happen!! Since I am in the middle of a two-week vacation, I do not need to worry about tomorrow being Monday!! But chin up Marva, Friday will be here again. In the meantime, I could post another item to cheer you up!! Yes Marva, happiness and delight is all I intend to spread with my Blog. Lucky you! I just back from lunch and Friday is nowhere in sight. I looked everywhere for it! Maybe i'll start to see it around Wednesday ;o)

Marva, what a shock I got!!! All this time I thought you lived in London and now I see that you are actually located on the other side of the Atlantic!! And here's me talking about Shell-illuminated dinner invitations!! And also I was talking about inclement weather as if you were living near enough to see it!! Now I see why you've enquired about where Kensington is located!!! It's where Diana used to live. I am just ten minutes away from her Kensington Palace. It's also where Al Fayed's famous Harrods store is. Hyde Park (equivalent to your Central Park) is only five minutes away from me. How goes it in Manhattan? I hope you are getting better weather than we are. Well, I don't know where Julia is today and I wonder if she also lives well away from me like you do. Are you getting your own Blog? Take care now. Actually, I was wondering where I could go for vacation this year. And I've always wanted to come to London. It will probably only be a short visit though, we only get 2 weeks vacation here and i've used a couple days already.

Hello again, Julia!! And may I say that I'm sure glad that you are only on the other side of the West End and not on the other side of the Atlantic!! I think that Marva will visit us in the end. As you may have seen, she has mentioned Christmas. I'll respond to her comment after this. Double U B is an ex-work colleague of mine. I may be a delight in fixing anything from a faulty turbocharger to a broken heart....But when it comes to computers, he is the expert in that field. Yes I can just about get the scent of Friday, or is that my Lunch? Nah, lunch is still about 45mins away, so it's probably Friday I can smell.
Yes, I think i'll probably be coming to London for Christmas. It's not the same as it used to be here anymore anyway, so it's good to see how other people celebrate it. I've been to Pareé (Paris) before, though it was summer time. It was still nice though.
Anyway don't want to bore you to death so i'll go now.

On the subject of smells, I doubt if the exquisite aroma of the Bobelette that I had for supper could have managed to reach your shores, but it would have been nice if it could!! With those unique, enigmatic ingredients, it was as scrumptious as usual!!!
Right, enough of this succulent dish descriptions before it makes me make another Bobelette!!! Believe it or not, I can eat for England!! I promise you that there are plenty of people here who will agree!! And yet, I do not even look remotely like the Sumo wrestler that these words may make you think!! Since I was 17, I still possess the same weight of 11 stones and a 30-inch waist!! Whereas some people gain weight by just watching a chocolate eclair from a distance of fifty feet, I am the opposite!!!
As you read this, Friday should be peeking at you by now. See it yet? Wait for it.....Any minute now!!
Regarding Paris, take me there any time of the year!! I won't complain!!!

I had a day off yesterday, and didn't feel like getting on my laptop at home. I just lazed around the house in the morning, then went shopping in the evening. I got a lovely pair of shoes....but i'm sure you guys don't want to hear about that.
