Saipan

Going back to my fighting days in Saipan, this is me with........me!!! Yes, the magic result of a successful double-exposure!! The left figure was shot first....(if you'll pardon the pun!!!)......Then, by removing the helmet camouflage netting, the jacket and then exchanging the rifle for a carbine, the right figure was transformed to pose as my buddy. In order to hide most of my facial features and avoid looking like a twin, I needed to tip my head and the loading of that visible clip of cartridges into the rifle was reason enough for me to look down as shown.

Wow!! I asked for something interesting and you delivered.

Nice picture. Were you really in that war? I don't think I was even born yet

Hello Lisa!! Thanks for being impressed by that war picture!! I definitely wasn't born either during that Pacific conflict so I just thought I'd title it Saipan to give it more authenticity. As I write this, no comments have yet arrived for my other two wildlfe pictures, but I do hope you liked them as well.
Thanks again for dropping in and I hope to hear from you again.

Hi Marva!! You say I look Sexy? Well, thank you very much!! You've made my day!! (Mwah!!!)
That picture was taken in my studio. Since I have recently purchased an ADOBE photoshop kit, you might soon see this picture published again but this time with an appropriate foliage backround to make it look as though it was taken in the Pacific jungle.
Today, I may be changing my Chapasnel name for RoGill. I may also add a number after that if I find that there are other RoGill names out there. I will keep you posted when everything is decided tonight. Take care.

Hah! I know, or at least I didn't think you were born in that era. I was just joking around. You would have to be over 70 wouldn't you? ;o) Yes, I looked at your other pictures very nice too. I just didn't leave a comment.

Take Care

Thanks for the info on your blog. I will keep my eyes pealed for the new name.

Although I feel very privilidged that you're telling me. Won't your other readers want to know about the new name? what if they come back here looking and it's all gone. They'd be devastated! ;o)

Thanks for making me feel young, Lisa!! I mean, if I had been in that war, then in my previous cowboy picture I should be looking all wrinkled and in a wheelchair!!
I'm sure glad my Blog contents are still pleasing not only my regular readers but new ones as well!! Take care Lisa. Mwah!!

Hello again, Marva!! Thanks for your quick response. Regarding that change, I have decided not to change my Blog name as it will bring a lot of confusion to many of you. The only slight change will be the changing of Just Bob to RoGill. This won't affect anyone looking for my Blog since it will still be the same Chapasnel address. RoGill will look more personal than Just Bob.
Take care and don't worry anymore. No big changes will be made. Take care Marva. Mwah!!
